As Cloudprinter continues to scale globally, shipping and logistics are becoming an increasingly strategic capability. To support this growth, we’re looking for a Shipping Specialist to help build, professionalize, and scale our global shipping operations.

Role Overview

As the Shipping Specialist, you’ll own and develop Cloudprinter’s global shipping capabilities.

This is a high-impact, self-sufficient role with significant autonomy. You’ll work across strategy, systems, and day-to-day operations — defining how shipping is set up, priced, and managed across regions and partners.

You will collaborate closely with Fulfilment, Product, Tech, Operations, Finance, and external carriers to ensure shipping solutions are cost-effective, scalable, reliable, and well-integrated into the Cloudprinter platform.

Key Responsibilities

Global Shipping Setup & Carrier Management

• Set up and scale shipping accounts with carriers in key regions worldwide.
• Evaluate, select, and onboard new shipping carriers and logistics partners.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers.
• Negotiate commercial terms, service levels, and regional coverage.

Shipping Pricing & Cost Optimization

• Own shipping pricing strategies across regions and product types.
• Optimize shipping costs and margins for both in-house shipping contracts and partner-based shipping solutions.
• Analyze carrier rates, surcharges, and performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Work closely with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure pricing aligns with business goals.

Shipping Systems & Data Ownership

• Own shipping-related data and pricing configurations within the Cloudprinter platform.
• Define and maintain shipping rules, zones, rate cards, and service mappings.
• Work with Product and Tech teams to improve shipping system functionality and automation.
• Ensure shipping data accuracy, scalability, and reliability across the platform.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Improvement

• Act as the internal shipping and logistics subject-matter expert.
• Support Fulfilment, Sales, and Enterprise teams with shipping-related input during scoping and onboarding.
• Monitor logistics performance metrics and service quality.
• Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of shipping, logistics, and operational processes.

Requirements

Essential:

• 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably in e-commerce, fulfilment, or platform-based environments.
• Strong understanding of international shipping, carriers, rate structures, and logistics operations.
• Experience negotiating with carriers and managing shipping contracts.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work with pricing models, cost structures, and operational data.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced, international environment.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Desirable (Strong Plus)

• Experience with global e-commerce shipping or print-on-demand logistics.
• Familiarity with shipping systems, APIs, and integration-based fulfilment platforms.
• Experience working with customs, duties, and cross-border logistics considerations.
• Additional languages (Spanish, German, French) are a plus.
