With the help of the templates, you can prepare the file for print in your Adobe Illustrator simply and easily.

*While preparing your file for print, you’ll have to turn off the T-Shirt Visualisation layer.

Follow these 6 simple steps to design and prepare your T-shirt for print:

  1. Choose from available T-shirt sizes

There is a variety of available T-shirt sizes at Cloudprinter.com — starting from S up to 6XL.

Choose the one that fits you best and keep in mind that the print zone remains the same independently of the T-Shirt size.

For now, only regular fit T-shirts with a round neck are available, but more types are coming soon.

  2. Opt for a T-shirt colour

Currently, there are 7 available T-shirt colours at Cloudprinter.com — grey (ash), white, black, blue, yellow, green, and red.

When selecting a dark colour of the T-shirt, you will need to print some elements with white colour. Here is a short video on how to prepare a print file with white colour:

  3. Opt for a T-shirt printing side

Printing on the Front side of the T-shirt is available for all the clients globally.

The clients who are using Cloudprinter’s Print API have printing Front and Back side options available.

To print on both the Front and Back sides, choose the templates for your size and upload 2 files to send your T-shirt for global print.

  4. Keep in mind that the print area on the T-shirt is fixed — 14х16 in (355.6х406.4 mm)

The print area doesn't change depending on the size of your T-shirt. You can only include your picture within the limits of the print area — 14х16 inches (355.6х406.4 mm).

You can either print a picture in the maximum possible size 14х16 inches (355.6х406.4 mm) or place a picture of a smaller size wherever you want within the limits of the print zone.

It concerns printing both on the Front and Back sides of your T-shirt.
  5. Select the picture for your T-shirt

Make sure your picture quality and size are appropriate for the T-shirt print area.

That's important to make sure the picture isn't blurred and meets your expectations when printed.

You can go for a multi-colour or 1-2-colour picture — whatever is better for you.

  6. Prepare file for printing

        - Set 300 DPI resolution
        - Choose RGB print
        - Save the file in PDF/X-4

Well done! Now you can print your T-shirt all over the world as close to the delivery destination as possible.
